Our vision is to ensure that all children are engaged and challenged by learning in a safe and caring environment

We aim for Meldreth to be a place…

  • of excellence, where children can achieve their best in all areas of their lives
  •  where children learn to be responsible and have respect for themselves and others
  •  where children and adults know that they make a contribution and are valued
  •  in which there is a strong partnership between parents, children, staff, governors and the whole community
  •

Behaviour

Our school code of conduct was drawn up by the children in consultation with the staff

Our Golden Rules

  • We always try to do our best.
  • Everyone tries to tell the truth.
  • We try to be kind to each other.
  • We don’t like bullies and we try not to be bullies.
  • We try to speak politely and quietly to everyone without interrupting and to listen carefully.
  • We try to be good sports.
  • We do our best to look after other people’s property and never take things which don’t belong to us.
  • We know it’s important to be in the right place at the right time.
  • We walk around the school in an orderly way
  • So, we treat others the way we would like to be treated!
